A: It is always good to get pre-authorization and an estimate from the physician’s office as to what your share of the expense would be. If you have choices of treatment, it would also be good to get the difference in cost of each procedure.

FIND A PROVIDER
To find a provider, go to Aetna and click on Find a Doctor. Members can find doctors, facilities, dentists, vision care, pharmacies, behavior health, equipment, Radiology/Pathology, urgent care and other medical services. If you are a member you should register first.

REPLACE A LOST CARD
Members should register online at Aetna when they receive initial cards so they have easy access to information at all times.
For a lost card, members can call numbers below and request a replacement.

Members can log in and request an ID card, and also print a temporary card while they wait for replacement cards to arrive.
